Field of Purple Haze

Wow, the past two weeks have been crazy!

I don't want to bore or disgust you with any negative ranting, so I'll keep it to myself. ;)

I'll just say that I am without a doubt in a big funk right now.
And I know I'm not alone.
How do the rest of you get back into the swing of things???

I loved the natural purples of these daisies, so I added a purple overlay to enhance that beautiful color.
Here are some more shots of these same daisies, but with different edits.

  1. Simply Beautiful... and as far as turning a negative attitude to a positive... ummm, I usually wait it out and pray a lot.. cause I gfigure I have not been talking to the Lord enough as it were...and I have been riding a wave of emotions since our move..I have major sympathy for my family... And I would love to rant on the blog.. but I am sure know one would ever come visit me again! Praying that your spirit lifts soon!

  5. What a gorgeous shot and processing. When I'm in a funk, I just start taking pictures of everything and try different perspectives.

  6. Beautiful! Even being in a 'funk' you don't loose your creativity, or yourself for that matter! I know my funks are usually hormone based so I try to just remember that and know my feelings are not who I am. And keep saying 'this too shall pass.'

  8. I went through "the funk" a few weeks ago. I am not 100% over it but to be honest the only way I have been able to deal and overcome it is to fake it! LOL! I know that sounds silly but I try really hard to fake a good mood and at some point it become's mostly true.

  9. For being in a funk you still can take some beautiful shots. It doesn't mess with your creativity!!!

When I get in a funk, I tell the hubby he HAS to keep the kids for a bit and I escape somewhere. It could even be in the van at the park. Just quiet and me and the Lord!!
