Scripture & a Snapshot {Week 42}

S&S---Psalm-96-5-7-copy

I love that this verse emphasizes God's beauty and strength.
I also love that this verse is still 100% applicable today as it was when it was written approximately three thousand years ago!

That's a long time ago...before the Civil War, before the Crusades, before the height of the Roman Empire, before the life of Jesus, and before the kingdom of Israel was divided.

God is unchanging and never leaves us...not for one moment.
...take a minute to wrap your mind around that...

Want to join in this challenge?
Here's how to participate:

1. Select a scripture.
My hope is that each week you will search your Bible and select a verse that has meaning for you.
Here's a link to a good Bible verse search engine.

2. Add a photo to it.
I hope that you will chose a photo that goes with your chosen scripture, and not just throw these two elements together. The photo can be from your archives or a new shot. Please only use your own photos. You can have the scripture on your photo, below it, make a collage - however you want, as long as the two elements are together!

3. Put the Scripture & a Snapshot button in your post.
You won't be deleted or banned if you don't. It just helps spread the word...and the Word. ;)

It also helps visitors from the blog hop quickly identify your Scripture & a Snapshot post.

4. Come back here and link up your post.
Please link directly to your Scripture & A Snapshot post, not the home page of your blog.

  9. 3000 years ago?? Wow, yes?!?! It definitely takes more than a minute to wrap my mind around that one. Oh if people would only look around and see what God has done and continues to do. Oh to have this nation, and this world, turn back to God again!

  13. Well done! It is amazing to me too that the Bible was written around 3000 years ago. We forget it didn't fall out of Heaven leather bound in old English. It was written on pottery, monuments, scrolls, who knows what, by different people, with different languages- YET it all fits together perfectly beginning to end. This is a wonderful verse- get rid of my idols... God's got better things in store!
