Scripture & A Snapshot {Week 9}

With Thanksgiving coming up for many of us, I can't help but think of everything I have to be thankful for - and more importantly, who I have to thank for it all!

Click here to read the full story of The Vine and the Branches.

Want to join in this challenge?
Here's how to participate:

1. Select a photo.
It can be from your archives or a new shot. Please only use your own photos.

2. Add a scripture verse to it.

I really hope that you'll put thought into the scripture you're choosing, as well as the photo you've selected. The idea here is to give glory to God
Here's a link to a good Bible verse search engine.

3. Put the Scripture & a Snapshot button in your post.
You won't be deleted or banned if you don't. It just helps spread the word...and the Word. ;)

4. Come back here and link up your post.
Please link directly to your Scripture & a Snapshot post, not the home page of your blog.

  4. beatiful shot and verse and edit. I like how you always have the story of the verses for us.

    Hope your Sunday is relaxing.

  5. Beautiful scripture with this shot. I really appreciate this meme each allows me some much needed reflection.

  6. thanks for doing this...i intend to participate every week now. loving this!

  7. Katie I linked in just after 6am and went back to bed and forgot to comment lol. We really do have so much to be thankful for and that's a lovely shot to go along with the verse.

I knew your heart would sink when you read my post today - that's why I kept it quiet on the blog for days just incase I would have some good news later in the week. He's presbyterian with a very liberal thinking minister. Sadly there are wolves among the sheep in every denomination and I don't think those ministers realise that they will be held accountable for every soul they have laid astray. Every time the phone rings now my heart sinks before I answer it.

  8. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

  9. Wow Katie. You always inspire me.
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  10. Thank you so much for hosting this. I really enjoy it and I think since it makes us get our Bibles out it is a positive.

  11. I love this verse!

I think you are the only one who got that my "sparkle" picture was a joke! Glad you got it because it sure was ugly!

  12. So very true Katie! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  13. Perfect verse! Very neat picture! God has been so good to us, yes?!? I couldn't imagine not "abiding in Him". What a sad and lonely life that would be.

  14. I love this! Great scripture and a snapshot as always!

Thank you for your visit and comment! I read and value each and every one. I am no longer able to keep up with returning comments on blogs, but please know that your visit and comment is greatly appreciated!
