I am completely stoked that I was able to 'fix' my sewing machine! I worked for hours and hours on it, trying to figure it out before getting online to find a solution.
Turns out, it was threaded wrong.
Good thing I didn't take it in to be fixed...that may have been embarrassing.
;)
I suppose now I should get it cleaned. That bulb is a little dusty!
Good for you - I love it when I can figure things out on my own like that. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, awesome Macro....And thats great about the sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteglad you fixed it. Love this shot it seems so old fashioned.
ReplyDeleteGreat lighting with this shot! Yes, threading wrong may have been a bit embarrassing if you brought it in. Good thing for google!
ReplyDeleteFunny, They can be difficult to thread and each machine is different. Very cool Macro!
ReplyDeletewow I didn't realise at first that it was the little bulb above the needle. It's a great composition Katie and it never ceases to amaze me of how interesting a little thing like that looks as a macro shot.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise what this was at first either, what a stunning macro and lighting shot, so clever!
ReplyDeletelol--I've done that before too. The darned thing was knotting up and I couldn't figure out why. Great macro!
ReplyDeleteCool! I saw a pajama pants pattern on a blog (can't remember where) and really wished I had a sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shot this is! And great you were able to fix it!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a shot!
ReplyDeleteHA!! Good investigating!
ReplyDeleteReally creative shot and as always, stunning.
That has happened to me before. My hubby was the one that actually figured it out b/c he refused to pay money to have it fixed. About an hour later, he tells me to read the manual to learn how to thread the thing. OOPS!!! Awesome picture. I love the color if it. I hope to see some projects soon too.
ReplyDeleteThat is one crazy, amazing photo!
ReplyDelete:) LOL! What is this sew that you speak of? I can barely sew on a button.
