I remember these. Beautiful photo, Katie. I think that these are the same ones that my mother would pick after they'd gone by, they looked like a huge bunch of dandelion seeds. She would, then, spray them with something and with color paint and keep them in a vase. Crafty lady, she was.
Hey Congrats your self !!!!!! and thanks for the encouraging words for this flower. I am really loving this hobbie and think I am getting better every time I take a shot. I do not know about you but it kind of is a high to get the next capture.
Love this shot with the different shades of purple. These are really cool flowers. and I love purple so they are ones I love. I like green too and the stems on these add something special.
Oh wow! Is that what they're called!?!?!? There's a lady down the road from me who has these growing in her garden by the stop sign and I took some pics of them - a few days later she was out and I asked if she knew what they were called, and she had no idea... I *love* these flowers! Isn't God so creative??? Dozens of flowers in one? Just beautiful!!
Thank you for your visit and comment! I read and value each and every one. I am no longer able to keep up with returning comments on blogs, but please know that your visit and comment is greatly appreciated!
