Last Thursday Seth and I went to the Royals' Opening Day game with some friends.
(kids were with Grandma and Grandpa!)
It was cold, windy, and for a short while rainy.
But we had a blast!
It's just too bad the Royals couldn't pull out a win against the Angels.
(although they did win the remaining games in the series!)
I'll be the first to admit that I'm really no good at sports photography.
So I've adopted a motto, if you will:
"When in doubt, blur it out."
A lot of you already know that I love to use blur/out of focus anyway.
Here are the rest of the shots I took at the game, which are much more artistic than journalistic.
I love, love, love the chair backs at Kauffman Stadium.
Love.
The cotton candy smelled delicious!
And the fans were just the right mix of red, white and blue!
My girls and I were just saying this week that we should go to opening day next year...although we'll be wearing red since we're on the other side of the state. ;-D
ReplyDeleteI love the bleacher shots...you have a great eye.

ReplyDeleteLove the blur!!!! I think it makes everything so dreamy feeling. Doesn't matter why you decided to take them like that. They look great!
