...did anyone get that title?!
It was supposed to be a spoof off of the movie title "Me, Myself and Irene".
Anyway, on to the photos!!
This was taken by my 5 year old son with my dslr.
I think I did a pretty good job hiding my nervousness!
;)
And here are the irises.
Normally I have such difficulty photographing these particular flowers, but for whatever reason this day was a good one!
Before & After:
I wanted to brighten up this shot and give it a touch of seventies.
I love Iris! and i think your daughter did a great job with the camera.. and you did awesome to not freak out like I would have...
ReplyDeleteI am hoping my iris are stil in bloom in Nebraska.. can not wait to get my hands on them...
I let my kids use my old DSLR too, but it makes me nervous. There are rules...
ReplyDeleteLove the iris shot
Funny, I initially thought you were referring to your irises (as in your eyes!) so my eyes went straight to your eyes in the first photo. LOL DUH SHERI!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and beautiful irises...either way you look at it.
Ha ha! Too funny. Cute photo. Love that iris photo. Great touch up.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Iris!!! So cute that she took the photo!
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you clever and how great that your 5 yr old is taking pictures of you. Love.
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots. Looks like your son will have his mama's talent behind the camera. :)
ReplyDeletehahaha I was babysitting twin boys the other weekend, we went to the zoo and they got really excited about borrowing my camera for pictures. Such a piece of equipment in the hands of a six year old was enough to make me hold my breath. I'm sure I didn't look as calm as you do!! :) Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThe seventies look works perfectly with the irises. They are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love irises--such gorgeous flowers, but I do find that beauty hard to capture. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteYour son did very well, too!
Just realized I'm not following you which is crazy since I love your blog and always enjoy your photos! So I am now.
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave Mama! :) He did a great job, tho.
ReplyDeleteThese are great!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful hues in your touch up!
ReplyDeleteYou are brave! I have only let the kids & hubs touch my camera a couple times. Freaks me out. Which is why I gave my daughter an old one of mine. No way I could relax otherwise. :)
ReplyDeleteI think he did a VERY good job!! I am absolutely LOVING your edit on the flowers! So pretty!
Oh that was really cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, both your girl and the flowers!
Great shots! Love the irises and what you did with your edit! Hey, I got your title too having seen Me, Myself and Irene! Funny movie.
ReplyDeleteI am nervous when my 18 yr old holds mr dslr! Like the edits on the Irises very much.
ReplyDeleteHe did very well...and you did too!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! I'd be nervous too, but he did a good job. Love your 70's edit. Such pretty flowers. :)

ReplyDeleteVery occasionally I let my 5-year-old hold my camera. Really nervous every time. Your son did a good job though. My 8-year-old has her own camera to play around with and that is just nice little point and shoot.
ReplyDeleteErika B
Well done!!! Everything and everybody -- beautiful! Happy B-day to Hubby.
