Blah Blah Blah...

First thing's first...
I must apologize to all of you.

Amid all the moving hullabaloo and packing and such, I apparently misplaced my manners.

Thank you for all of your prayers, your thoughts, your emails, your comments!!!
Over the past few weeks y'all have absolutely overwhelmed me with how much you care and by the love you've sent our way.
(((hugs)))

...and we're just moving!
Yes, it's mildly stressful, but all in all it's a great thing for us.

Secondly, I wanted to let you all know that this photography blog will one day make a return to photography...one day. As it is, I haven't so much as touched my camera since we learned we were moving. In fact, I haven't even wanted to...until this morning when we woke up to snow. I desperately wanted to bundle up and explore our backyard with my camera. Better yet, I wanted to go to the arboretum.

Alas, the kids needed to get to school and I still needed to get ready for my very last Building Better Moms meeting. *sniff* So I sat near the window in our kitchen enjoying the scene a little longer than I normally would have. The falling snow glistened in the sunlight like diamonds. It was truly gorgeous!
As I stared out our window I was reminded of two things.
One: This may be the last time we see snow for several years. I have mixed feelings about that.
Two: Edward Cullen.

And because every day should include a good laugh...

LOL
...hope you're having a great week my friends!

  1. I could never see snow again and be totally happy! Well, it's actually the cold I dislike, not the snow, but I think I could give up the brief prettiness of snow if I never had to deal with below freezing temps again. :)

    Good luck with the move!

  2. ummm that is what we thought, "that we may never see snow again..both times we moved to Texas.. it is a falsehood..LOL if Houston does not get it, then ya for sure can come to Dallas to play in it.. except we are low on the snow removal equipment and travel becomes an adventure...Still praying!!!

  4. It is hard not seeing snow, but every year gets a little easier. When you are sad just think about how gray and cold it will be the other 1 billion days that seem like winter :)

And by the way, I LAUGHed my butt off.

I'd so miss snow... we moved further north to get MORE... we are crazy like that. But God knows what He is doing!

  6. What? No apologies necessary... You're busy moving your family! A slide in manners is just fine! Lol. And you're welcome... And are still in my prayers!

No worries... You take care of your family and we will be here for when you get back to a more normal life. :)

And that is a funny pic... Totally agree! Hehe!

  7. That pic is so funny!

No worries though, it usually snows at least once in the winter and then you will just laugh - pretty much just everything stops! haha
