Scripture & A Snapshot {Week 2}

I would like to start the challenge this week by giving thanks to God for the awesome success Scripture & A Snapshot had for it's first week!! There were 28 participants! I find that amazing considering: this is a new blog, I only gave you one week notice that this new challenge was starting, and what's most amazing is that the majority of participants saw the challenge on a friend's blog - not mine - and hopped right in!

I have prayed about this challenge in all of it's stages and I can say with absolute certainty that the Lord has been with me and blessed me - and hopefully you - because of it!

With God all things are possible.
He's shown me that through this challenge already and I am so excited to see what will happen down the road!!!

Matthew 4:1

If the devil is bold enough to tempt the Creator of the Universe, imagine how much more so he is when it comes to you and me!

But Jesus being tempted wasn't a coincidence. He wasn't out for a stroll and just happened to bump into his long time rival. God planned this to show us how to resist those temptations and that it can be done if we put our faith and trust in Him!

Want to join in this challenge?
Here's how to participate:

1. Select a photo.
It can be from your archives or a new shot. Please only use your own photos.

2. Add a scripture verse to it.
Here's a link to a good Bible verse search engine. You can have the scripture on your photo, below it, make a collage - however you want, as long as the two elements are together!

3. Put the Scripture & a Snapshot button in your post.
You won't be deleted or banned if you don't. It just helps spread the word...and the Word. ;)

4. Come back here and link up your post.
Please link directly to your Scripture & A Snapshot post, not the home page of your blog.

I'll leave the link list up Sunday morning through Wednesday night.

Love the passage you have for your lovely shot. If He was tempted , how much more should we be aware that we too can be.
    Blessings to you my friend.

  14. WOW! Look how many have participated so far. Amazing. I just realized I never left a comment on your picture. Oops. :)

This is an excellent picture choice for your passage. I also like how you lowered the opacity of the picture to make the verse stand out.
