Remember this stamp?
I used to have a stamp collection when I was little and this is my favorite one!
I remember watching the printing of this stamp on either Mr. Roger's Neighborhood or Sesame Street.
Just a heads up that my posting will be quite scarce this week due to Christmas and the fact that the new external hard drive I got failed and nearly erased ALL of my kids' baby pictures and Etsy originals. Thank the Lord for recovery software!!! I've been working for about the past week recovering those photos, and am only about half way done.
In case I don't *see* you later in the week, I hope you have a very safe and merry Christmas!

how cute. Sorry to hear that hard drive did not work.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of your week Katie.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!.
Wow, sorry to hear about your hard drive mishap! How scary!! I always worry about my external hard drive giving out on me - I really should get a back-up for it just in case. Have a great week and a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness your external didn't work?! I am s glad you got it straightened out. A few years ago we had a lightning strike and it wiped the hard-drive on my computer. The current year I didn't have have backed up. Lost all of our house building photos, so sad.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad you played along and I so remember that stamp!!!
Ack! Praying that you'll get everything recovered so you can enjoy your Christmas!! Take care!!! And ps......what a lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteKatie, I do recall something that taught us how this was made...I think that it was from Mr. Rogers and his very nice post man. It's so cute. I also had a stamp collection when I was a little girl...now, my middle son has the same book that I collected my stamps in. My mother began collecting, too, and now he has her booklet as well. It's so exciting when you're a child {and an older child - like me} to see stamps from all over the world and know that they actually traveled there and back.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I can't believe about your new hard drive. Crazy glad you got all your photos though. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeletetotally understand. have a Merry Christmas too!
ReplyDeleteOh no Katie that sounds like it has been quite harrowing for you. I'm relieved that you were able to retrieve the photos.
ReplyDeleteI think that little stamp is so cute looking. I used to collect stamps as a youngster from all over the world and had penpals who used to send me more along with their letters.
Have a Blessed family Christmas :)
I don't remember that stamp. So cute though. Merry Christmas to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute stamp!!! I don't remember it...is that crazy?!?!
ReplyDeleteI was just going to ask you if you were able to recover those pictures. YIKES!!!!!! My heart would have probably stopped if that were me. Now I know to get it backed up. Guess what?? I am working in "safe mode" on my computer right now. It won't start up any other way for me. Nothing like getting my PSE fixed and now the computer crashes. Aargh!
So cute!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you - and hope you can recover the pictures!
Merry Christmas, Katie! Praying that you'll have a blessed one this year!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

ReplyDeletebtw, good luck on the hd thing! We just had to replace the hd on my hubby's laptop and it was not fun...
I don't remember that particular stamp, but I did have a stamp collection which I'm going to have to dig out now! Merry Christmas!
