The other day I was sitting on our deck while the kids played in the pool and noticed a lone ant coming toward me. He was on a mission and determined to cross my path.
All I did to this was crop and run PW's Heartland action.
Bada-bing!
PS - That first sentence sounds much better than it really is...the pool is a blow up one, slightly bigger than a bathtub. And those tiny specks of blue are paint that was meant to be only on the house. But I think it adds a little somethin' to the shot. Don't you?
I love insect shots :)
ReplyDeleteOh those ants! I can't turn around without seeing one summer, right now. The heat and humidity has forced them in, even onto my school bus {I tell the kids that they'd better stop sneaking the snacks back there, if they don't like the ants}.
ReplyDeleteI love how you processed it - so cool!
ReplyDeleteCool pic, great edit!

Your processing really made a huge difference. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI don't point a lens at the ants on our patio but ant dust and I've just discovered the wasp killer spray works wonders on them too.
ReplyDeleteGreat edit Katie - heartland is an action I rarely use or see used that often. Your blue speckles add to the texture.
Love what you did with this. Who would of thought an ant picture would turn out so cool!
ReplyDeleteNice shot!
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with the shot!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great edit. Love it.
