We have some pretty large yellow daylilies in our front landscaping.
I've been working to divide them and then transplant in our backyard...something I should have done back in April when it was still cool and the plants were still small!
But before I dove in with my spade, I thought I should snap a few shots first...you know, just in case.
I was accidentally shooting in vivid color mode and my flowers all turned out with an eye-popping and very un-natural yellow.
Thus the edit to black and white...with a slight yellow tint.
Interesting in black and white.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous processing in B&W!

ReplyDeleteI like the black & white - very classy. Like Ashley said, romantic.
ReplyDeleteWow, I LOVE those in white!! I know just what you mean about vivid and flowers. I shall keep the b/w trick in my back pocket!!

I love your photos, really gorgeous! I follow on GFC as Mary Lee!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I tried dividing my daisies after the "preferred" time frame. Those roots are strong! Good luck with those beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful processing!

How beautiful in black and white!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully soft and delicate images! Bright yellow would have detracted from that quality, so B & W was an excellent choice. I especially like the third shot -- great angle.
