This summer...specifically the past three weeks...has been a scorcher.
{I know many of you are in this same heat-wave-that-doesn't-seem-to-be-going-anywhere boat.}
So, we've done what any family with fair-skinned children and a budget do: we've stayed inside.
Thanks to our local library we're maintaining a modicum of entertainment...primarily by checking out video games.
We've also checked out lots and lots of books, but during these last few weeks leading up to school, I don't mind letting my kids veg-out.
Of course, household chores must still be done amid the fun.
And Rowan is all too happy to help water the plants.
Even if it does end with mopping the floors.
love that second shot! So adorable! I love her little hat
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love that second photos.
ReplyDeleteLove that second shot! We spend our hot days at the pool since we have no a/c. Staying inside would make us insane!
ReplyDeleteLove the shots! I know, this heat seems like it is just lingering and lingering. We are finally getting a break starting this weekend low 80s! Kinda hard to believe! Have a great day!

Vegging out is definitely a treat, one that I love indulging in. ;)

Whenever my eyes glance over the small links in the photo challenges, I always seem to land on yours first - even in that small square, it's clear to see what beautiful clear shots you have.

hehe... I so expected something funny like that 3rd shot right after that 2nd shot! :) These are all adorable -- but love that 2nd one the best-- the light just draws me in and keeps me coming back!
ReplyDeleteYou do have such a beautiful style--love the light in your photos!

Ha ha!!! Love the last one!! Seems very familiar!!!
ReplyDeleteThis weather has just been horrible! Ugh...I hate heat. Too bad we aren't having strange snowstorms in the south or something. I'll have to pray for that in the winter. :) Good thing your floors could stand a little watering too. Precious. And I love both of the pictures of the kids. That OOF is just awesome!
