Zinnias Galore 1

Yep...you read that right!
There will be more zinnia posts coming.
The arboretum was filled with them.
Most of their flowers {which happen to be zinnias this time of year} are concentrated along a 20-foot walkway.
And that's where I spent 1.5 of my 2 hours!

I tell ya.
These flowers are gorgeous in every single stage of blooming!

And they had peach ones! I don't think I've ever seen a peach zinnia, but they are so awesome and vintage-looking!

They made me think of a garden tea party in the late 1800s.
I think it would be so fun to travel back in time to this period where women wore dresses, good manners were expected and romance abounded....or maybe that was just in the movie Pride & Prejudice?
{I tried reading the book, but it's just nowhere near as good as watching Matthew Macfadyen}

Yeah, these two are incredibly similar, yet still different enough.
I know I'm going to put one of them in the shop, but I'm having a tough time deciding which...can ya help a girl out and tell me which one you like best?! {Right or Left?}
Thanks!

And one more to round out this virtual bouquet.

  10. Glorious photos! I just planted zinnias in my garden--hoping they last until the first freeze. It may be an old-fashioned flower, but I love them!
