"Now I stand on solid ground, and I will publicly praise the Lord."
Psalm 26:12
Do you praise the Lord publicly?
It's something I'm mildly uncomfortable doing.
I'm so worried about what others think of me that I forget it's God's opinion that truly counts!
When appropriate and it seems right, I do praise the Lord publicly, but mostly in the community of others who understand who He is. And she is adorable. Assume she is yours?
ReplyDeleteYep, she's our youngest!
DeleteLove this...can't help but smile when looking at the gorgeous smile of hers! What a beauty:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie in your picture! Such joy! Thanks for sharing and thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteMildly uncomfortable? Phew -- you're better off than me! It's something I need to work on when I'm outside of church or outside of the circle of my 'churchy' friends.
ReplyDeleteShe's certainly filled with joy!
I love the picture of your daughter??? She is so cute!! Nice verse too. Can you tell me how you put the opaque rectangle box in for the scripture?
ReplyDeleteThis is my daughter and she is full of personality! :)
DeleteI made the opaque rectangle in PSE by using the rectangle shape tool set to white and then brought down the opacity to about 15-20% in the layers section. Hope that helps!
Okay thank you~
DeleteHow BEAUTIFUL! :) so cute! and love the verse Katie! Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little girl...and another wonderful picture by you!
ReplyDeleteI always walk that line. I praise publicly--but am sometimes uncomfortable wondering if I'm praising from the heart or in order to be seen.
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely precious.
What a cutie! Brought a smile to my face this morning.
ReplyDeleteI think I feel the same as you. When I am at church, I have not problem praising our Lord. But when I am just out in public, it seems to be harder. Such a shame I feel like that.
Good word! I always think about the people in foreign lands who can't praise God because it'll cost them their lives...
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute - great photo for the verse. I'm learning to praise him more regardless of where I am. It's a process. :)
