I really dropped the ball this week on Scripture & a Snapshot....I am so sorry!
We had a long week filled with errands, orders from my Etsy shops, a trip to the doctor, then a trip to the hospital for an x-ray with the most stubborn and strong 3 year old I've ever seen (everything is ok, by the way!), then my awesome in-laws came down for a several-day visit, Seth and I went on a movie date night, and then the whole family spent all Saturday down at the gulf in Galveston.
It's been a mostly good but very overwhelming week.
And I know that whether I'm overwhelmed by the daily things in life or worse, God will be there to pull me from the waves!
Thanks for the reminder! ;)

ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful week! God is in control, so just relax and enjoy life as it comes. And you don't have to apologize for not having the post up. That too is just part of life. God Bless!!

Thanks for hosting us each week!
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning picture and perfect verse!
ReplyDeleteWhat a powerful picture...and verse! I'm sorry to hear it was such a crazy week for your family, but I'm glad things are calming down again.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that God says, "This far and no farther" to the waves and sets their boundaries so they don't overwhelm us!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful photo, and this verse described me when I was walking through a difficult time in my life, Katie! I'm sure a lot of us can say the same! I'm so thankful that He is far greater than that which can overwhelm us!! So glad to hear that your little one is okay! Praying you'll be overwhelmed with His peace this week!
ReplyDeleteWow. It's so easy to get to feeling like this and seeing no way out. Praise God He can reach down and deliver us!!!! Gorgeous picture, Katie. As for that certain little three year old....did she try to break something???? Yikes!
