Didn't think you'd see me here again, did ya!
How have you been, my friends?
I had some down-time, which is rare. And a bit of the photo bug, which seems even rarer nowadays.
With flowers blooming so readily in my yard, I really had no excuse to not get out and shoot.
~ Sunflower Petals ~
{reminds me of our awesome church in Kansas where wild sunflowers grew along the back road}
~ Papery White Poppy ~
{my favorite flower at this exact moment}
~ Dianthus ~
{eye popping bright dianthus}
~ Classic Daisy ~
{I would love to hop in the shrinking magic school bus and land in the center of this flower}
...hopefully it won't be another eight months before I see you again...
sweet.... glad to see ya again... I mean, here not facebook..lol beautiful shots
ReplyDeleteThank you! ...yeah, I double dipped with FB and the blog on these shots. I figure it's so rare for me to have a photo to share I should cover all my bases! ;)
DeleteAw, nice to see you, and even nicer to see sunshine and flowers through your lens. You've still got it! ;-) Anyone who can shoot white brightly but not blown out is my hero.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy! I'd nearly forgotten just how tough it is to shoot something worthwhile and how much time editing can take! ...no wonder I don't have time for it anymore...ha! :)
DeleteWonderful pics, as always! I love all the beautiful flowers you were able to capture! Makes me want to grab my camera and go find some flowers!
ReplyDeleteAren't flowers great?! They make me so happy. I hope you find some soon! :)
DeleteHey Sweet Girl!!! I DO miss you, and was so happy to see you come up in my reader. LOVE your photos. Just the bright spot I needed in the midst of sick kiddos! Gives me hope that spring might actually come this year. I yearn for open windows! Hugs! Love, Sally
ReplyDeleteHeeellllllooooooo!!! Sorry to hear about the sick kids. :( Ick. I have to say, that is one benefit to living so far south...the sick season is nearly nonexistent. I hope you're staying well and the kids start feeling better soon! I'm so glad to hear from you...it made my evening! :D Take care!!
DeleteHello Katie! So glad to see you back... I hope you are well and as always I love to see your work!! Hope to see you again soon :-)
ReplyDeleteWell howdy!!!!! Time has not changed the beauty you can capture :) These are such delicate shots. So beautiful. I was just talking about you to the hubby the other day. Boy, moving to North Carolina messed up plans. I may be going to Houston soon with Hannah and the Girl Scouts. We WILL meet up!!
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing! Nice to see you again!
