Just Chillin'

grasshopper 2

I've been waiting and waiting to share this yellow grasshopper with you!
I saw him at the arboretum, just like my last grasshopper shot.
I've never seen a yellow one before!! And I love how he's chillin' upside down like it's no big deal.

  1. I LOVE macro pictures! Especially the buggy kind! It's neat to see them up close and personal. While sometimes gross, they are also graceful and beautiful in their own ways. I keep in mind that God made everything, even bugs. :)

  9. Great shot! I can't wait to get a macro lens, but I'll have to :( I've gotten some pretty good "macro" shots with my other lenses, but it's not quite the same as with a macro lens.

  17. Very nice photo! Anytime you want to see a rainbow of colors on those guys just stop on by! We have them in just about every color and they get to be up to 5-6" long. The problem? The strip my veggie plants bare! I had one clean 4 tomato plants that were about 3' tall of ALL their leaves in ONE NIGHT!!!
